Amy is amazing! Her slow, calm voice guides you through a different yoga flow each week, all preparing you in a different way. She tells you which moves are good to relieving pains and which ones help lubricate the joints and pelvis to get the baby in a good position. She is also a midwife so is a wealth of knowledge, without making you feel like any question is a silly one. She is there to answer any questions and makes you feel extremely comfortable to be able to conquer birth and beyond. Highly, highly recommend.

I went to my first prenatal yoga session with Amy last week and it was excellent. I felt so relaxed and it was exactly what my body needed. Amy is very knowledgeable and explained how the specific movements were helpful in supporting our bodies while carrying our babies and to also prepare them for labour.

We welcomed a beautiful baby girl yesterday morning. Just wanted to say I really think the yoga helped SO much and am so thankful for finding your class. We were able to labour at home reaching 9cm and then came into the hospital for a water birth within 2hrs!

The workshop was incredible. I appreciated the way it was structured, yet at any point allowed for the freedom of exploration of other topics and questions to be answered by someone who you can trust has the experience to share the reality of labour and birth. The holistic approach to education in the workshop caters for a wide range of people. This workshop paired with other services that Amy offers such as yoga fits so well together!

Pelvic Floor and Breastfeeding Goodness Workshop This workshop was an excellent combination of two topics that are so important but that as a first time mama I didn’t find out enough about during pregnancy. After having difficulty once my first baby was born, I wanted to be better prepared second time around. This workshop made it so easy for me to gain the information and practical tips I needed, face to face, in one place, at one time. I thank Amy and Caitlin for providing the opportunity to be so much better educated and empowered for this journey with my second bub. They are truly lovely women who are very passionate about what they do!

My partner and I attended Amy’s body balance course when I was approx 32 weeks. I practiced what amy taught me most days (I’d love to say all but hey life gets busy) and in doing so really feel it aided in my birth. I had what’s classified as a “short” active labour phase of 10hrs. Which for a first birth is very short! I didn’t tear and bubs needed no assistance making his passage out. I feel that this course really helped this 🙂

The Active Birth Workshop is a must for any mumma to be! Amy has a wonderful way of combining holistically the physical and mental progression of labour and birth. She gives with her experience as a midwife and yogi, useful and practical suggestions on how to manage or cope in delivery through the various stages. Highly recommend to attend her pregnancy yoga sessions as well! It ties in beautifully with the information from the workshop and provides a great weekly chance to move your body, practice breathing and connect with other mummas while sharing in questions, experiences and tea!

My partner and I loved Amy’s body balancing workshop. She helped us to better understand baby’s movements and positions leading up to, and throughout birthing. The 30min flow was so nice and makes me body feel great. I try and incorporate at least a few elements of that each day, if not the whole thing. Looking forward to our next workshop with Amy 🙂
